the Hand of Providence doesn't seem to be bothered by diversity, what are the odds that so many people and cultures would be drawn to one place one time and experience one event that affected them equally. yet look at how this came about
in 2004 provudence placed me in downtown orlando with a vision to reach out and create a special ministry for street christains. yes homeless people have faith and values and integrity, social status can't destroy that. by providence the ripple effect was already waiting, a nonreligious group by the way committed to social activism and embraced my vision, by providence other groups both church and non church alike were drawn with this desire to help less fortunate people, by providence the city of orlando resisted us all and even made what we do restricted and hard thinking we would just quit and that would end it. 2 groups stood firm in thier conviction to do what neededto be done. My church first vagabonds Church of God and Orlando food Not Bombs. providence brought this issue into federal court and opened up this issue to national attention and brought advocates together nation wide beggining to make a network united against injustices perpetrated by civic leaders.
there is a story in exodus that God hardened pharoahs heart so that his will and purpose might be made known. yes even the cities hard heart is the act of providence at work. another scripture says if the rulers of this world had known what they were doing they would not have crucified christ. people in charge blindly fulfill providence. this city is going to greate one of the biggest social justice revivals that ever was because thier bigotry toward lower social class blinded them from sttling the issue privately thus thier hard heart plays into Gods providence. i guess when its all over i should thank them for being Gods tool for what happens next
